For those of you who actually read this crap, the following was from the blog post on April 17, 2016.
"Before I forget, for the $10 Bunch Member/Member tournament June 25th, unless there's a monsoon the day of or the day before we will be playing "real" golf. The only exceptions will be those that are observed by the Pro Shop. That is to say, we will be playing the ball as we find it (if you find it), no tree line to tree line, no cart path to tree line, no fairway only. If you find yourself in the brier patch and can't hit it, it's 2 club lengths (drop not place) no closer to the hole and a 1 stroke penalty. Are we clear? Crystal!!! No bumping it in the rough or anywhere else for that matter. It's incumbent on all of us to protect the field."
With the above in mind the format will be simple, team points total. Quotas will be based on your $10 Bunch target through June 19, 2016. Parings will be based on those same targets, ie. the 2 highest team targets will be the 1st, next 2 highest 2nd and so on. As of this post, we have 14 two man teams (7 foursomes). If we wind up with an odd number of teams we'll need to find a "Marker" to ride herd on that lone team.
As soon as the field is finalized I will post the payouts. Right now I'm thinking about paying 3 places + Gross and Net skins. Split $35/$15 (1-3/Skins)($490/$210). Remember payouts are per team, not individual. Maybe we should pay 4 places. What do you think.
