Via Con Huevos...

The blog will be going mute for the next couple of weeks while the Mrs. and I venture off to the the vast Liberal wastelands of NY and ME for a little R & R.

While I'm on vacation, my right hand man, Stanley George Taraskewich, Jr. and anyone he can recruit, will be in charge.

A couple of things to keep in mind as the end of my administration approaches.  Be thinking who you'd like to take over as your new Commish.  My term will expire with the conclusion of our participation in the Ten/Ten Cup ($10 Bunch vs Crain's Crewe) October 22nd and 23rd.  I would be willing to continue working on the stats and blog if my predecessor feels the need.  As for the tournaments, tee times, pairings, blind draws, freezing's etc it's time for someone else to assume command.

Speaking of tournaments, here's and updated list of the two remaining events.  If you'd like your name added or removed to/from either list please let me know.  If you'd like to pay your entry fee ($100) for the Member/Guest while I'm gone, please see Stan.  Until we meet again...

August 20th Results and...

Somehow the Skins pot ($) got mismanaged, That's a Shame, which caused Two Mules to get stiffed for a $5 Skin.  I, as your Humble Commish, have made and executive decision and will pay Two Mules from the General Fund.  "Heavy hangs the head that wears the crown".

Wingology is set to open next week.  They are located in the old Crows Nest/61 Main/J-Town Grill space on N. Main in Jasper.  I stopped in this week.  Place has been upgraded inside and looks pretty nice.  Sign says Wings, Burgers and Burritos.  Who am I to judge. I'll be gone the next 2 weeks so try to stop in while I'm gone. Email or text me with your reviews.  I'd at least like to get a chance to see what they have to offer before they close.
