Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more.

As  previously communicated beginning April 1st we will once again be comparing your $10 Bunch Quota to your GHIN Quota and using the higher of the two for your target, i.e. your $10 Bunch target will never be lower than your GHIN target.  We will have a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 36.  That said I need to know the tees you will be playing from (again).  Once you decide on which tees you are free to move back without reprisal, if you decide to move forward you will be frozen for 3 rounds, so choose wisely.  This format will be in effect until I'm impeached, my term expires (Oct. 30) , or I change it yet again.

With regards to the June Member/Member/Member, given the MGA Member/Guest and Father's Day it looks like our best date for the tournament will be the 25th.  Pick your team and let no later than bedtime June 12th.  Entries after the 12th will be considered based on space available working in conjunction with Russell if it comes to that.

From the blog (1 round per month requirement), dual citizenship also refers to AZ and those living in exile in IL.

March 27th Results... and

Many thanks to That's A Shame for his hard work on Saturday. With 7 groups (27 players) I needed all the help I could get.  Of course if there was only one group it still would have been a challenge for me (saved you from saying it Half Wedge).

Nice to see Watergate make his first appearance of the season even though it was only a fly by.

Also beginning April 1st except for those with dual citizenship, i.e. GA and FL, you will need to play with us at least once a month to keep your card.  You're always welcome to play but you will be frozen at +2 for 1 round which will start the clock again.  The management will consider waiving the above with a note from your doctor.  Dr. Phil does not count.

I'm going to need your preferred tee positions again, please.

Also, we are planning on holding a 1 day (Saturday) Member/Member/Member tournament towards the end of June. For certain it will be after the MGA Member/Guest.  Yes, 3 man teams.  Format will be Total Points based on your $10 Bunch Quota.  Entry fee will be $75 for the team (3 X $25 for those of you who need help).  We will also do team gross and net skins. Payouts will be determined based on the number of participating teams.  We'll probably do something immediately after down at the lake, TBD.  Since it's threesomes, to protect the field there will be NO effen gimmes.  (Will consider any and all input regarding this tournament and format).

Let's get the pleasantries out of the way first before it gets ugly.

Let's all welcome back Lee Wilson.  Lee was a regular on the $10 Bunch Tour back in the day and has decided join us once again.

Okay, onward.  Look for more adjustments to the quota system with the release of the April 1st GHIN indexes.  It's not about winning, it's not about winning all the time, it's about positioning yourself to win at financially beneficial times.  We all understand luck, for example Wacker's Double Eagle.  What's difficult to understand is wild swings in points attainment at the most opportune times.  "Round up the usual suspects." Beginning 4/1 your quota will NEVER be lower than your GHIN Index.  There is now, and will remain, a minimum of 12 with a maximum of 36. Let the impeachment proceedings begin.
